Riot outburst at Panseke as traders flee their Marketing Stand/Spot:

Traders were sighted this morning fleeing their Stand as the State Task Force and other government officials were arresting and packing the goods of the people trading illegally at Panseke area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to eye witnesses, the major reason of this act was because of the dirts and refuse dropped at the road side by these said traders, residents and passers-by.

Furthermore, a lot of people were arrested this morning; most of the victims were the people caught in the act by the Task Force officials at the spot.

"i was arrested this morning for dumping refuse at Panseke, I paid the sum of #5,000 for my bail after a lot of negotiations and plea because initially I was asked to pay the sum of #10,000 as fine for disobeying the law", Adekunle Oguniyi told our correspondent.

Residents and Traders in the area have hereby been warned by the State Government to stop dumping refuse by the road side, because it could lead to various disease outbreak or blockage of sewages and drainages.
