Below are the General entry requirement for OND & HND for 2015/2016 aspirants .

1Accountancy
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained
at not more than 2 sittings including English
Language, Mathematics and at least one of
Economics, Commerce, Principles of
Accounts/Book Keeping
b) Two other credits in any of Statistics,
Government, Geography, History,
BusinessMethods/Studies, Literature in
English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/
Agricultural Science, Language (Yoruba/
Hausa/Igbo/ French), Religious Studies (CRK/
IRK).

2Business Administration
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained
at not more than 2 sittings including English
Language, Mathematics and at least one of
Economics, Commerce
b) Two other credits in anyof Literature in
English, Business Methods/Studies, History,
Statistics, Geography, Government, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Financial
Account/Book Keeping, Language (Yoruba/
Hausa/Igbo/French)

3Marketing
As in 2 above

4Mass Communication
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained
at not more than two (2) sittings including
English Language and Mathematics.
b) Any three (3) other credits from any
subject.
c) Only one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/
Hausa) and one foreign language (French etc)will be accepted .

5Office Technology and
Management
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at not
more than two (2) sittings or four (4) credits at
one (1) sitting including English Language
with, at least, pass in Mathematics.
b) Other credits from Typewriting, Shorthand,
Office Practice, Commerce, Economics,
Principles of Accounts, Business Methods,
Mathematics, History, Government, Commerce,
Geography, Biology/Agric. Science, Physics,
Chemistry, Language (Yoruba/Hausa/ Igbo/
French), Religious Studies (CRK/IRK).

6Science Laboratory
Technology
a.Credit passes in five (5) subjects at two
sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting
including Mathematics with at least a pass in
English Language.
a.Credits in two of the core science subjects
and at least a pass in the third science course
namely: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric.
Science.
a.Other credits from Economics, Geography,
Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity/
Electronics, Further Mathematics, Statistics,
Language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa), English
Language.

7Food Technology
a) As in 6(a) above.
b) Credits in two of the core science subjects
namely: Chemistry Biology/Agric. Science and
a pass in Physics.
c) Other credits from the third subject;
Economics, Geography, Further
Mathematics and Food & Nutrition.

8Hospitality Management
a) Credit passes in four (4) subjects obtained
at not more than two (2)
sittings including English Language and one of
Biology/Agric. Science
/Health Science. At least a pass in
Mathematics.
a.) Two (2) other credits from
Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics /Statistics,
Economics, Health Science, Food & Nutrition/
Home Economics, Geography, Government and
French.

9Pharmaceutical Technology
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained
at not more than two (2)
sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting
including Mathematics,
Chemistry, Biology and a pass in Physics and
English Language.
b) One (1) other credit fromany of Geography,
Economics and Technical Drawing, English
Language.

10Computer Science
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects
obtained at not more than two (2) sittings
including Mathematics, Physics and English
Language.
b) Other credits from Chemistry,

11Estate Management and Valuation
a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at not
more than two sittings including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and one

Government, Commerce, Fine Arts, Technical
Drawing, Statistics, Commerce, Fine Art,

General Entry Requirements:
Applicant must:

1. satisfy the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic
entry requirements for each relevant National
Diploma Programme;
1.pass at not below Lower Credit in the
relevant National Diploma Programmes from
accredited programmes/Institutions and have
completed one year post National Diploma
relevant work experience (evidence of
industrial work experienceis required).
1.Candidate with a pass at ND level plus two
(2) years post qualification cognate experience
could be considered for admission;
1.request his/her former Institution to send
transcripts of his academic record to the
Registrar, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,
Abeokuta;

1.Applicants who obtained their National
Diploma (ND) from other Polytechnics with
Pre-ND as their entry qualificationshall not be
admitted. Post-qualification School Certificate
ordinary level results are not admissible.

1.Candidates with National Diploma in Banking
and Finance and Accounting Technician
Scheme (ATS) Certificates are not qualified for
admission into HND Accountancy Programme.

TWO (2) YEARS (EVENING) AND THREE (3)
