Trade By Barter system of trading brought back to life in MAPOLY as the ND2 and HND2 students of the institution celebrate their EED Exhibition 'Open Market Day':

Yesterday, 3rd June, 2015 marked the EED practicals Exhibition day tagged "Open Market Day", the event which was organized by the school Centre for Entrepreneurship Development was attended by both the ND and HND students.

According to our correspondent, students were exchanging goods for goods; there was no buying and selling on the spot of the event, instead there was exchange of goods and it was done according to the worth and value of the products to be exchanged.

"My EED group members and i arrived at the venue around 8am and we didn't make any sales, that was why we all decided to trade goods for goods since nobody wants to buy" - Semilore an ND2 student of Accountancy told our correspondent.

The event ended peacefully and students of the institution seemed satisfied with the management initiative to organize such 'Get Together' event.
